Edmonton Global Talent Conference 2015

MARCH 3, 2015
Developing Productive Professional Networks

The Global Talent Conference is known as one of Edmonton’s premium events for Internationally Educated Professionals (IEPs) who are looking to connect with and be inspired by leaders from the Edmonton business community.

For the fifth year, Edmonton Region Immigrant Employment Council (ERIEC) will hold its 2015 Global Talent Conference on March 3, 2015 at the Fantasyland Hotel & Conference Centre at West Edmonton Mall.

The goal is to bring business leaders in the Edmonton community and skilled immigrants who have successfully found employment to provide support and advice to recent foreign trained immigrants who are looking for work in their professions. We believe that the lack of network is one of the major barriers to employment and integration of IEPs, that is why this year’s theme is Developing Productive Professional Networks.

The Edmonton Global Talent Conference is a cost free, one-day event.

If you are an employer located in Edmonton who recruits, hires or manages IEPs, join us and learn:

  • How to enhance your networking skills through mentoring
  • How to lead diversity and inclusiveness in your workplace
  • How to integrate skilled immigrants into the Canadian workforce

If you are an Internationally Educated Professional, from the Engineering, IT, Finance, HR or Business Administration sectors, who is currently unemployed or not working in your chosen profession, register for this conference to network with and be equipped to succeed in reaching your career goals. Join us to learn:

  • Why the soft skills and professional networking are so important
  • How to improve the effectiveness of your communication skills
  • How to increase your professional influence
