ENGINEERS’ AND TECHNOLOGISTS’ INTEGRATION ENGINEERS’ AND TECHNOLOGISTS’ (ETIP) INTEGRATION PROGRAM

A unique program designed for internationally educated engineers to find work in their field of expertise in Alberta

The Edmonton Mennonite Centre for Newcomers (EMCN) has been offering the Engineers’ and Technologists’ Integration Program (ETIP) since 1996, and has successfully bridged more than 1000 engineering professionals into meaningful employment.

The main objective of the ETIP is to develop the participants’ engineering business communication proficiency, enhance their previously learned technological knowledge and skills to Canadian standards, and gain Canadian skills accreditation through NAIT. Learn practical job search skills essential to the Alberta job market. Upon completion of the program, graduates are recognized by the Association of Science and Engineering Technologist Professionals of Alberta (ASET) with a professional designation.

Participants are eligible to apply for a government grant for funding.
