When immigrants come to Canada, they often experience difficulties finding jobs that are in line with their education and experience. This presentation examines the root causes of this problem and suggests practical solutions that people can implement immediately. By understanding how important soft skills are in Canadian organizations, by networking with the right people and focusing on the four key personal characteristics of personal success, many immigrants have reached over time the goals they had set for themselves when they decided to immigrate to Canada.
