Tara Dragon is an entrepreneur and experienced technology, transformation, and business leader. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta and spent her early career consulting in Information Management and Information Technology (IM/IT). As a partner in a boutique firm, she saw professionals (consultants and clients) struggle to maintain strong work-life balance with limited options for flexible work. Recognizing the importance of it for her own family, she founded Work Evolution and is now connecting the best organizations with professionals seeking flexible work.

 

 

David M. Botwick-Ries is an American serial entrepreneur with a background in coworking, community, and strategy. Currently the Business Development Representative at ConnectAd in Toronto and the Social Media Manager for Gun Violence Archive in Washington D.C., David has launched two businesses (Mike & Cookies and Verde Vegan) in two different countries (United States and Mexico), has a background as a freelance marketing consulting, and has worked with startups nonstop since graduating from the University of Maryland with a degree in Political Science in 2011. David also served as Director of Innovation for The Grove Coworking in New Haven, CT and Community Manager for Homestead Coworking in Edmonton.

Alicia Richmond is a corporate matchmaker at TELUS Communications. She has a B. Mgmt (Finance) from the University of Lethbridge and CPHR.  Alicia has been with TELUS Communications for the past 16 years and seen the evolution firsthand of the TELUS workstyles program (work from home initiative) and has worked from home herself for the past 7 years.  Alicia is a Technical and Engineering Recruiter for TELUS’s Chief Technology Office and hires people from across the country and from all over the world.

 

 

Arijana Ilibasic is an online business manager and founder of Elevate Virtual. She works with online entrepreneurs, managing the day-to-day operations of their businesses. Her background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, a post-graduate degree in Human Resource Management, and over 5 years of corporate HR experience. Arijana lives in Kitchener, Ontario, with her husband and two young kids.
