Hate networking? Join the club. If you’re like most people, the idea of traditional “networking” leaves you shaking in your boots. Even the most outgoing person can have a difficult time walking into a room of strangers. However, with some practice and a plan meeting new people can be one of the most rewarding outcomes of your job search efforts.
This interactive session will give you a chance to practice some skills for breaking the ice, carrying on conversations and knowing when the time is right to move along.
You don’t have to be the life of the party but you do need to be ready to put yourself out there.
