It’s Time to Vote! Help choose this year’s winners!

Canadian Immigrant Magazine, in association with RBC Royal Bank, is proud to announce that voting for the 10h annual RBC Top 25 Canadian Immigrants Awards is open! Please visit their website today to vote for one of the 75 finalists! Voting ends May 17, 2018.

This national people’s choice award is unique in that it allows Canadians to nominate and vote directly for individuals from all walks of life who have made a difference since their arrival in Canada. So, we want to hear from you today! We believe that new Canadians are making a difference in their newly adopted country and it is important that they are recognized.

More than 200 Canadian immigrants have already been honoured in the last nine years of the program — everyone from public figures like Governor General Michaëlle Jean and restaurateur Vikram Vij  to community advocates, volunteers, philanthropists and more. The goal is to keep shining the spotlight on immigrants from all corners of Canada, from every industry, ethnicity and walk of life. After all, Canada is a nation built by immigrants!

Brand new this year is the Settlement Agency Award created to recognize the amazing work immigrant settlement agencies are doing to help newcomers integrate and succeed in Canada. You can also vote for a settlement agency. One agency will be selected to receive the Settlement Agency Award for 2018!
