Keynote Speaker: Lori-Ann Muenzer
Lori-Ann Muenzer is a High Performance Business Results & Mindset Coach helping professionals smash self-doubt and fearlessly scale their business in 6-12 months by shifting just one thing. Lori-Ann won Canada’s 1st Olympic Cycling Gold Medal in Athens, Greece by using her mindset to overcome countless obstacles, challenges and adversity –she was 38, worked full-time, and raced against competitors half her age to win gold.
Keynote Speaker: Dawn Richardson Wilson
Dawn Richardson Wilson, hailing from Ghana but raised in Edmonton, Alberta, never envisioned herself in the world of Bobsleigh. Despite starting her athletic journey with basketball and track and field, her high school coach recognized her potential and urged her to try out for a bobsledding program. This decision ignited a remarkable journey that led her to become one of Canada's top athletes, representing her country in the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. Dawn's presence as a Black woman in the Winter Olympics is significant, highlighting the under-representation of Black individuals in these games due to the high costs associated with winter sports. Her participation not only increases visibility but also serves as a role model for young girls who see themselves in her achievements.

Kerry-Ann McPherson is an empathetic leader from Jamaica who calls Edmonton “home.” She combines her love for planning, organizing, and helping others in her current role as Senior Executive Assistant at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta. It’s a joy for her to work in healthcare, and she’s excited to make a difference within Alberta. She holds an MSc. in Applied Psychology and is the author of LinkedIn newsletter, I Love To Understand My Team, where she writes for leaders who desire a deeper understanding of their teams, to help them create a healthy growth environment. When she’s not writing or planning, she enjoys going on nature walks, journaling, and playing Super Mario Kart with her friends.
